Q. I am a dog groomer and I want to make bows for the dogs I groom. Do you have any suggestions of what kind of ribbon I need to use.
A. The hair bow tool and ruler along with the Mini Bowdabra make pet bow making and measuring easy. The reference guide I use when making dog bows is as follows:
3/8" Wide Bows 0-5 Pounds Tea Cup Puppies, Yorkies, Maltese
5/8" Wide Bows 5-10 Pounds Small - Medium Yorkie, Maltese, Poodle, Shih Tzu
7/8" Wide Bows Over 10 Pounds Adults Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Bichon
I would recommend using bow the 3/8" wide grosgrain and satin ribbon for the very small bows and the 5/8" to 7/8" wide grosgrain and satin ribbon for larger bows. Instruction for making a classic pet bow along with a matching pet owner bow for yourself can be seen by Clicking Here.

Q. I am having trouble viewing the videos on the web site:
A. When you click on the video link, a player will pop up with Play and Stop buttons at the lower part of the video. Click on the run or start button to play, it has the little arrow head on it. All videos are in the Adobe Flash format, please make sure you latest flash player installed in your browser. This is a free download from Adobe flash and works with most browsers. Your video should then play.
Q. How to I become a craft contributor to your web site?
A. We are always looking for creative craft projects which use the Bowdabra. We must have the projects submitted in step by step photo steps with instructions or by video. If we use your project then we will give you credit for the project and provide a link back to your blog or web site.
Q. Why can't I open the craft project e-Books?
A.All of the e-books will open up in Adobe Acrobat pdf reader. We have found that depending upon your system and browser version, you may need to download the Adobe Acrobat reader from their site. We have had a few people who are using windows 7 operating system who have mentioned that there is a problem with downloading pdf's. Microsoft may have a service pack upgrade to resolve this problem, we suggest however downloading the latest version of Adobe.
