When I am not hosting Thanksgiving, I always bring a gift for the hostess. I know how much hard work goes into planning a large 
family gathering and I always try to make sure that I show my appreciation to the hostess with a small gift. Create a beautiful beaded ribbon “Blessings” bookmark as a thank you gift. Bring a book and the ribbon and beaded bookmark to Thanksgiving or any special event, as hostess present.
Materials Needed:
Instructions:
1. Begin by gathering all the materials you will need for this craft.
2. Next, using needle nose pliers open the jump rings so that you can thread the alphabet beads onto the them. Using the pliers close the ring so that both ends meet. The ring will now be more shaped like an oval than a sphere.
3. Completely unwind the designer ribbon-to-bead from its spool.
4. Using the wire needle (attached to the ribbon) thread a large eyed sphere bead, then the alphabet beads, finish with a matching sphere bead. Cut the ribbon from the spool leaving several inches on each side of the beads. Dovetail the ends of the ribbon and seal the ribbon with clear coat nail polish.
5. With the remaining ribbon-to-bead thread the wire needle through the first sphere and alphabet bead then attach a rectangular bead. Continue threading the ribbon through the alphabet beads and attaching a rectangular bead.
6. Leave a long ribbon tail, the tail will be used as a page marker in your book. Cut a dovetail and seal with clear nail polish.
7. Thread the beads all the way to the end and then knot the ribbon. Cut a dovetail and seal the ribbon with clear nail polish.
8. Your bead ribbon “Blessings” bookmark is ready to be given as a hostess gift.
8. Purchase or recycle a book to be given to the hostess with the beaded bookmark. Place the long strand of ribbon inside of the book to and leave the beaded end on the outside of the book.
