Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’s Wife Treat Bags

Children all the know the story of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. But what about his better half, his wife! Make these super sweet, girly, treat bags Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’s Wife Treat Bagsand fill them with little sweets. Kids will have so much either making these treat bags and/0r giving them to friends. Use Scor-pal to make cardstock shapes, add a reindeer face, and finish with a Mini Bowdabra Bow.

Materials Needed:

  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Die Cuts
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Pom Pom
  • Googly Eyes
  • 7/8″ wide Green Sheer Ribbon
  • 5/8″ wide Red Sheer Ribbon
  • Red Tulle Ribbon
  • Floral Stems with Red Tips
  • Small Red Silk Flowers
  • Clear Plastic Bags

 

Instructions:

1. Begin by gathering all the materials you will need for this project.

2. Use die cuts to cut the shapes for the girl reindeer.

3. Use double-sided tape to assemble the reindeer’s face.

4. Add googly eyes and a red pom pom nose.

5. To make the bow: Cut 18″ of Bowdabra Bow Wire, fold the wire, and place it into the Mini Bowdabra. Cut 7/8″ wide green sheer ribbon, fold the ribbon in half to create a crease, at the crease mark place it into the Mini Bowdabra.

6. Fold and press the ribbon to make the first loop.

7. Fold a matching loop on the other side.

8. Cut 5/8″ wide red sheer ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half to create a crease, at the crease mark press it into the Mini Bowdabra. Fold the ribbon to create two matching loops.

9. Fold red tulle into the Mini Bowdabra. Fold it down in between the towers in an accordion fashion.

10. Add floral stems with red tips.

11. Place small little red silk flowers into the Mini Bowdabra.

12. Scrunch ribbon down with the Mini Bowdabra Wand. While the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the BowdabraBow Wire through the loop at the other end. Pull the Bowdabra Bow Wire tightly while the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra. Gently pull the bow out of the Mini Bowdabra. Separate the two loose ends of the Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring them around to the back of the bow. To tie off the bow, pinch the Bowdabra Bow Wire securely against the bow. Twist the bow 4 to 6 times in a clockwise direction.

13. Attach the bow to the top center of the reindeer.

14. Add small little candies and treats to clear bags and add the reindeer cardstock.

15. Make several gift bags and let kids get in on the fun. Gift them as holiday party favors or Christmas stocking gifts.
