I love when I can make a craft for practically free. I love it even more when I can make a craft for practically free while recycling materials. Know what puts the icing on the cake? When I can make a craft for practically free while recycling materials and it is actually useful. Today’s Tulle Bow Headband fits all of the above, so I’m super excited to be sharing it today!
My headband is a New Year’s Eve leftover. I had quite a few of these left so don’t be surprised if my Mini Bowdabra makes over them all!
Strip everything off of the headband frame. Wrap the ribbon around the headband frame, using the hot glue gun to secure the ends.
Set the headband aside.
Place a strip of bow wire in the Mini Bowdabra.
Insert a piece of tulle in the center. My piece was approximately three inches by 12 inches. The larger the size, the bigger the bow.
Use the scrunching tool to push the tulle down. Bring up the bow wire and use it to secure the tulle. Fluff the tulle to look like the bow that you desire.
Hot glue the bow to the headband.
All done and ready for spring!
