Bowdabra

Simple Picnic Utensil Holder

If you’re planning any fun picnics or parties this year, keep in mind that the decorations do not have to be expensive. I’m back with another recycled craft this month. This  simple picnic utensil holder can be made in just a few minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to make one for all the party attendees.

Supplies:

  • Paper towel roll, cut in half
  • Ribbon for wrapping around the tube
  • Ribbon for making the bow
  • Bowdabra bow wire
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Pom pom ribbon

Hot glue ribbon around the paper towel tube.

Grab the Mini Bowdabra.  Place a piece of bow wire down the center. Place a piece of ribbon across the bow wire.

Fold one side to make a loop.

Continue making loops back and forth until the desired amount of loops are achieved.

Use the scruncher tool to compact the bow. Pull up the bow wire to secure the bow.

Snip off the excess bow wire. Hot glue the bow on to the ribbon covered tube.

Place the napkin and utensils in the tube. You’re ready to party!
