Supplies:

  • Hot glue gun/hot glue
  • Plain hair clip
  • Small leather like material scrap, cut into a small football shape. The shape should be about the size of the plain hair clip.
  • White fabric paint
  • Small paintbrush
  • Fabric scissors
  • White Tulle scrap, cut to 4″ by 24″
  • Small white scrap piece of felt
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Bowdabra bow wire

Using the fabric paint, paint the leather piece to resemble a football.

Set it aside to dry completely.

Grab the Mini Bowdabra and Bowdabra bow wire.

Cut a piece of bow wire and place it across the Mini Bowdabra.

Scrunch up the tulle piece in the Mini Bowdabra.

Use the bow wire to pull up and secure the tulle.

Hot glue the small felt piece to the top half hair clip, trimming the felt to the size of the hair clip. This will be what the hair bow adheres to.

Hot glue the tulle bow to the top of the hair ciip.

Leave the hot glue gun on, and use it to glue the football shape to the center of the tulle hair clip.

You can use this technique to make lots of bows for all your favorite sports or teams!
