Pumpkin Wreath {from a Lid}

Are you ready for another upcycling project today? If you’re like me, then somehow there are assorted pot and pan lids in the cupboad. Seriously- where do these pots and pans go? Once a lid is unattached from its mate, the use for the lid is pretty much null and void. Today, we’re going to transform the lid into an easy pumpkin themed wreath!

Supplies:

  • Pot or pan lid
  • Orange spray paint
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Ribbon in two colors
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue
  • Scissors

Pumpkin-1

Begin by spray painting the lid orange. Let it dry completely.

Grab the Mini Bowdabra. Place a piece of ribbon across the Mini Bowdabra.

Pumpkin-2

Place the larger ribbon in the Mini Bowdabra. Use it to make a small bow for the top of the wreath.

Pumpkin-5

Secure the bow with the smaller ribbon.

Pumpkin-6

Hot glue the bow to the top of the lid. Do not cut the ribbon tails.

Pumpkin-7

Bring up the ribbon tails and hot glue the ends together. This is now your wreath hanger.

You’re all done! Depending on the size of the lid, this may be a smaller decorative wreath or a larger front/side door wreath.
