Bowdabra

Summer Beach Themed Wreath for your Front Door

Hi everyone, Steph  here to show you how to create fun summer beach themed wreath using the Bowdabra.  Need an easy way to create bows?  Then look no further than the Bowdabra.

Summer Beach Themed Wreath

I used the Bowdabra Bow Making and Design Tool – Large.  I placed a strip of ribbon in the Bowdabra that I planned to use as the tie.  You can use the Bowdabra Wire in place of the ribbon, but I wanted 4 lengths of the summer ribbon to hang.   I inserted the ribbon in the center then twisted it as I created each loop.  Twisting ensures that the single sided ribbon will be in the correct direction once the bow is finished.

I used the Bowdabra Wand to push the loops down while I continued creating the number of loops I wanted.  Then I pulled the bow out and tied it with the ribbon strip.   At this point I inserted the Bowdabra Wire so I could use the wire to tie the bow to my wreath.

After tying the bow to the grapevine wreath, I continued creating my summer beach themed wreath by adding a die cut a seahorse to the center of bow.  Of course, I had to ink him first and add  a wiggly eye for fun!

I also die cut assorted shapes of coral, then added  assorted colors of sea shells and a starfish made with Makin’s® Clay and Push Molds.

Several bits of greenery were also die cut and added to finish the summer beach themed wreath. What is great about this project is that you can be creative and add whatever you think could go with the theme. You might even add a few seashells.

Are you feeling summery yet? Please share your creative ideas in the comments below!!  We love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
