How to make a cute Halloween headband witch’s hat

Halloween headband witch's hat

Hi everyone! Tammy here with you today with this fun Hair Accessory Halloween headband witch’s hat tutorial. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I love to dress up like a witch. I love how this hair accessory turned out so much, I think I will wear it instead of my usual large witches hat for a change.

Supplies:

Mini Bowdabra

Bowdabra Wire

Mini witches hat

18 inches of 2 inch ribbon of your choice

18 inches of 1/2 inch ribbon of your choice

8 inches of decorative mesh tubing in orange, black and purple

Wire headband

Decorative feathers

Needle and thread or adhesive fabric tape

Directions:

Cut a 12-18 inch piece of Bowdabra wire and place it inside the Bowdabra as shown. Wrap the ends around the bottom to keep it out of the way while you are working.

Place wire head band inside of Bowdabra as shown.

Wrap the 2 inch ribbon around your hand 3 times.

Place ribbon inside the Bowdabra and separate each loop as shown.

Add mesh tubing into the Bowdabra behind the middle ribbon loop as shown.

Wrap 1/2 inch ribbon around your hand in the same manner and add it to the Bowdabra. Add decorative feathers on top of the ribbon in the Bowdabra as shown.

Pull the Bowdabra wire into a slip knot leaving the ribbon loops loose and securing the center only.

Finishing your Halloween headband witch’s hat

Cut a small hole into the side of the mini witches hat and place wire head band through hole.

Slide mini witches hat next to ribbon and secure with adhesive fabric tape or needle and thread to wire head band.

That’s it! How cute is this little Halloween headband witch’s hat hair accessory? I can’t wait to wear it on Halloween :)
