Hi everyone, Steph here today with some cute Halloween Treat Containers. I found these plastic test tubes recently and thought they would make some fun Halloween treat containers. Just fill them with assorted candies and then add some cute little bows created with the Bowdabra.
Supplies:
Bowdabra Mini
Gold Bowdabra Wire
2Â colors of 1/2 inch wide ribbon
Scissors
Plastic Test Tubes
Using the Mini Bowdabra, I started with the Bow Wire, tucking it underneath so it was out of the way while I created the bows. Then I used 2 different ribbons to create the bows for each of my treat holders. Each ribbon has 2 loops so left over ribbon works well for this project. Use the wand to push the ribbon in place before pulling up on the bow wire.
After tying off the bow wire, I left the bow wires long so I could curl them after I tied the bows to the treat containers. Don’t they look cute? Next time, I think I’ll add some additional embellishments to dress them up some more.
Creating bows for treat containers is a perfect way to use up ribbon scraps. You can even personalize them for friends and family.
How about handing out some cute Halloween treat containers this year instead of candy bars? Who wouldn’t love getting these treat containers?
Thanks for stopping by today.
