Bowdabra Bows Fall Wall Hanging

How to Make Fall Wall Hanging with Bowdabra Bows

Create office or home décor that shouts fall by making this lovely fall wall hanging filled with pretty Bowdabra bows. It looks fabulous on a door, cabinet, above a desk, and so many other places! This “bowdacious” (full of bows) fall arrangement will surely send out welcoming vibes to any and all visitors!

Materials:
Bowdabra, bow wire and wand
Assorted ribbons, 5″ décor mesh
Faux 6″ pumpkins/Proxxon hot wire cutter
Scissors, fabric glue, hot glue

Begin by cutting a 24″ piece of Bowdabra wire, folding it in half and placing it in the Bowdabra, tucking ends under.

Take your mesh and assorted ribbon and cut off 30″ for the bow tails. Begin layering by centering the tails, right side up, in the Bowdabra.

Make your bows on top of the tails by cutting the ribbon and then twist and fold loops on each side. I started with 8ft. of mesh ribbon to make . . .

four large loops on each side.

And then added assorted ribbons, twisting and folding loops. I used the Bowdabra wand to scrunch down the ribbons as they were added.

Be sure to use the Bowdabra wand to push down all of the ribbon one last time to make it easier to tie off the finished bow.

Take the loose ends of the bow wire and push them through the loop, pulling tightly and out of the Bowdabra. Take the separated ends around to the back of the bow and tie a couple of knots. And finally, arrange the loops while fluffing the bow.

Dove tail all of the ribbon ends by folding the ends together and cutting on the fold at an angle.

To make the hanging strip, cut the mesh ribbon about 45″ long and lay on work surface. Begin layering and gluing on a few assorted ribbon in the center using fabric glue. Dove tail the end once all the ribbons are glued on and dry.

Add the pumpkin to the fall wall hanging

Next, cut the pumpkins in half using the Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter . . .

for an easy and smooth “cut like butter finish.”

Assemble by first attaching the Bowdabra bow to the top of the mesh hanging with the bow wire. Then gluing on the half pumpkins, evenly spaced. Next, glue on cute little Bowdabra bows (made the same way) on top of the pumpkins . . .  and finally glue on individual cutout letters that spell “F A L L” on the pumpkins for a beautiful

Bowdacious Fall Wall Hanging!
