Make a quick and easy Thanksgiving bow table setting!
Does your Thanksgiving table setting always look blah, blah, blah? Add excitement with pops of fall color to your table top by putting a Bowdabra Bow on them! Here’s how you can spruce up drab napkin rings and a pumpkin.
Ribbon Mini Bowdabra toll and ruler/bow wire/wand
Embellishments and decorative beads
Cut an 18″ piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold in half and place in the Mini Bowdabra, tucking ends under.
For the tails, cut a ten inch piece of ribbon, fold ends together and then fold lengthwise. Position scissors at the folded edge and cut the ends at an angle.
Pinch the center of the tail and insert into the Mini Bowdabra.
For the bow, cut a 15″ piece of ribbon, crease one end and insert into the Mini Bowdabra.
Fold and twist the ribbon, making a loop at the 2 1/2″ ruler mark and press into the Mini Bowdabra.
Fold and twist the other side at the same width.
Scrunch down with the Mini Bowdabra wand.
Insert fall embellishments into the Mini Bowdabra. Thread the two lose ends of the bow wire through the loop and knot.
Thread decorative beads on the bow wire and tie off. Arrange embellishments and fluff bow.
Hot glue the Bowdabra bow onto the napkin ring.
Next, take a plain pumpkin, real or faux and glue on a ribbon around the middle. Make a large fold and twist bow the same way as above, but this time using the Bowdabra and fifty inches of ribbon to make four twist and fold loops on each side.
After threading the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop, tie the wire in the back, cutting off excess wire and fluffing the loops of the bow. Glue the bow on the pumpkin in the center of the ribbon.
Have fun sprucing up your fall décor for Thanksgiving by adding beautifully made Bowdabra bows!
