This fall wedding bow with its streamer-like tails will add a touch of rustic elegance to your special celebration. It can be used as a pew bow, or enhance table and chairs at a reception.

Instructions to Make a Fall Wedding Bow
- Cut dovetails on 48″ length of burlap and 36″ length of grosgrain ribbon. Fold ribbon in half lengthwise and cut a diagonal line from the folded edge to the end of the open edge. Quickly pass the cut ends through a flame to seal them, and prevent fraying.
- Fold Bowdabra bow wire in half and place in the Bowdabra. You can tuck the ends under the bow maker to keep them out of the way.
- Place the 48″ length of burlap in the Bowdabra with 24″ extending on each side.
- Place the 36″ length of grosgrain in the Bowdabra with 18″ extending on each side.
- Overlap the ends of the 24″ length of burlap, forming a circle. Place both ends in the Bowdabra.
- Press the center of the circle opposite the two ends into the Bowdabra, forming two loops.
- Scrunch the tulle into the Bowdabra.
- Make a loop bow with the remaining 60″ length of grosgrain ribbon.
- Compress the ribbon in the Bowdabra with the Bowdabra wand.
- With the ribbon still in place in the Bowdabra, pass the ends of the bow wire through the loop, and tighten.
- Bring the wire ends to top of the bow, and tie securely.
- Wrap one wire end around a skewer, pencil, or knitting needle to form a coil. Gently remove the skewer. Repeat with the remaining wire end. (Alternatively, the wire ends can be moved the the back of the bow and used for hanging the bow.)
- Fluff the bow and make final adjustments to the ribbons.
