Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a thank you card with Bowdabra. Simply adding a bright bow to a card creates a wonderfully sweet detail. You can use a splash of any color of scrap ribbon to jazz up a thank you card for that extra personal touch.
Supplies:
Mini Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bowdabra Bow Wire – Gold
Darice Ribbon
Joy Clair Stamps
Imagine Inks
Begin by folding in half approximately 18″ of Gold Bow Wire. Place it in the Bowdabra. Next, cut 12″ length of yellow ribbon and place in the Bowdabra channel. Then use the yellow ribbon and place it in the channel and create 2 loops on each side.
Use the wand to push the ribbon into the Bowdabra.
Cut 2 strips of the chevron ribbon and place them the Bowdabra. Use the bow wand to push the ribbon down into the Bowdabra.
Pull up on the bow wire and tie off the bow.
Fluff out the bow.
Create a card by adding pattern paper to brown cardstock. Stamp phrase in 2 different colors of ink and adhere panel to card. Poke 2 small holes in the card and insert the bow wire to anchor the bow. Bring the wire back through opposite holes and use a craft tool to create spirals from the leftover bow wire.
