Worry Free DIY baby shower bows, headbands, gift card bows, table centerpieces, door decor, package bows anyone can make in minutes without sew or hot glue. Sandy Sandler, Creator of the Bowdabra, shows you how easy and fun it is to make elegant #bows for baby shower with the Bowdabra!
Sandy takes dove-tailed pieces of burlap to prepare the background and scrunches them into the Mini Bowdabra. She adds green ribbon leaves with their ends cut pointed. On top of these come the petals, in yellow and blue colors and everything is then tied up with the Bow Wire. She shapes the flower, pulling the ends up to make the bloom. Looks pretty on a package or a little girl’s headband.
Sandy takes a long and wide piece of pink tulle and places it in the Large Bowdabra, centered. She scrunches in another piece of equally large tulle over it. The third piece she scunches in as bow loops and adds a few floral lights and a white dovetailed ribbon over it. She scrunches in white tulle and ties the huge arrangement with the Bow Wire to make a gorgeous and super easy baby shower bow.
Sandy takes two burlaps – a pink and a blue one, placed on top of each other and dovetails both. The pink burlap (for the baby girl) is a little shorter than the blue one (for the baby boy). She takes another identical set and places it like a bow, scrunched down the center with a slight pinch and the loops tucked inwards. She adds a piece of white tulle over it and ties up the arrangement with the Bow Wire to make a super simple and pretty package bow.
Sandy takes wide piece of blue mesh, about 2 yards in length, centers it and places a fraction of it in the Large Bowdabra. She adds a few strands of satin ribbon and a large piece of yellow mesh over it. Sandy follows the same method again, strands of satin ribbon with a another piece of blue mesh scrunched into the Bowdabra. The tails of the mesh and the ribbons stay long and loose on one side. Sandy ties everything up with Bow Wire to make a really cute and flowing Baby Mobiel. You can just use the remaining part of the wire to hang it as you wish. This super simple Baby Mobiel also works just as well as a table centerpiece.
Sandy takes a blue patterned card paper and sticks a piece of Rhinestone Silver Mesh ribbon right across the center. She then adds a piece of a “ITS A BOY” ribbon over the mesh. She next picks up the Mini Bowdabra and lays a piece of the ITS A BOY” ribbon in it, followed by a bow made from a pretty ribbon which has a string of pearls at the center of it. Up over it comes another smaller piece of “ITS A BOY” ribbon. Once the bow is tied up and shaped out, Sandy sticks a piece of Rhinestone Silver Mesh ribbon on the center and sticks the bow to the corner of the card.
Sandy scrunches in a piece of glittery pink tulle followed by some more plain pink tulle and another piece of glittery pink tulle into the Large Bowdabra. She adds some green ribbon leaves and tops up the arrangement with light and dark pink ribbon petals. Once the bow is tied up, she weaves the remaining part of the wire through the seam of the headband to make sure that nothing is against the baby’s head. She shapes out the petals, leaves and fluffy tulle to make an adorable flowery baby headband bow.
