Dress Up Your Holidays with Super Simple Bows!!
Wondering how to get the beautiful #wedding bows for decor? Make them yourself in minutes with the Bowdabra, the world’s easiest bowmaker. Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra, shows you how easy it is to make amazing #DIY centerpiece bows, festive pew #bows, bouquet bows, gift bows and more with the Bowdabra and assorted ribbons.
Sandy begins the tutorial with inserting burlap and printed dovetailed ribbons (17” long and 1.5” wide) in the Bowdabra. She tops it up with another printed ribbon (19”long and 2.5” wide) with printed side up making a loop and scrunching the middle of it. Sandy does one more such step with another printed ribbon and ties it all up, fluffing out the loops and shaping out the ends to finish the beautiful pew bow. It can also go on the Christmas tree or the Hanukkah Bush.
For this bowmaking project, Sandy uses two white tulles (1.5 yard long and 12” wide). She scrunches them in with twist-and-turn method making loops and tops up the arrangement with a ribbon (32” long and 1.5” wide). She inserts some Bowdabra angel mesh ribbons over it and adds another golden angel mesh ribbon (27” long and 5” wide) making loops. Sandy inserts a pretty white flower bouquet over it along with some more angel mesh ribbons. She adds a lace to it (28” long and 6” wide) and few more ribbons. Sandy ties it all and shapes the loops and ends to finish the gorgeous huge bouquet bow that can also be used as a centerpiece bow.
Sandy uses a golden mesh (1.25 yard long and 12” wide) for this bow project. She scrunches it in Bowdabra making a big loop and then scrunches the loop down the middle. Next she scrunches in printed ribbons (16” long and 1.5” wide) and tops it with a wired ribbon with loops making an ‘X’. She scrunches another ribbon (84” long) with twist and turn method. After tying it all, she shapes the loops and the ends to finish the pretty wedding centerpiece bow.
Sandy scrunches a few beautiful golden printed dovetailed ribbons. She tops it up with two other golden ribbons (2 yards long and 1.5” wide) with twist and turn method making loops and finishes it with tying it all and shaping the loops and ends.
For this hair bow project, Sandy scrunches in a rhinestone ribbon first in the Mini Bowdabra followed by a burlap ribbon paired with a golden one (15” long and 2.5” wide), making a loop. She tops it up with another rhinestone ribbon. She ties it all to finish the cute little hair bow.
Sandy scrunches a burlap ribbon (10” long), topping it with a golden ribbon (30” long and 2” wide) with twist and turn method making loops. She scrunches a white ribbon in the same manner over it and ties it to a small gift box. She shapes the bow to complete the cute little gift wrap bow.
