This Patriotic Day, pay tribute to the martyrs who gave their life for the nation by decorating and gifting these patriotic bows by Sandy Sandler, creator of Bowdabra bow maker.
Sandy begins the project with scrunching Bowdabra silver scrunchy ribbon (20” long) in the Mini Bowdabra tool. She spreads the ends and adds some blue pointed ribbons (4” long each). Next, she tops it with a few colorful and pretty wired ribbon petals and ties it all, spreading the ends and the petals. She ties the bow to a flip-flop to finish the beautiful decoration bow for the flip-flop.
Sandy switches to Large Bowdabra for this project. She scrunches red mesh (6.5 yards long and 6” wide) making big loops and adds two dovetailed red ribbons (20” long and 9” wide each) over it. Then, she scrunches another red ribbon (1 yard and 19” long) making loops with an X manner. Sandy now scrunches a blue ribbon (1 yard long and 2.5” wide) over it all, again making loops in an X manner. She adds another piece of blue ribbon (12” long) and scrunches it over. Sandy then adds some beautiful Patriotic Day picks to it and tops it with a beautifully stripped ribbon (1 yard long) making loops. She adds two more blue ribbons (12” long each) over it and scrunches yet another pretty blue ribbon. She ties it all to finish the super pretty buffet table bow/centerpiece bow for any kind of patriotic event.
Sandy begins with a pretty designer ribbon (28” long and 1.5” wide). She adds two decorative bells to it and adds another piece of the same ribbon (3 yards long) with a twist and turn method making loops. She ties it all and fluffs the loops to finish the red, white and blue holiday décor bow that can be used as wreath bow or door bow.
Sandy uses a blue ribbon (1 yard and 39” long) and scrunches it in Bowdabra making loops in an X manner. She adds a red decorative ribbon (13” long and 1.5” wide) making loops. She adds another red ribbon in a similar pattern and inserts a foam silver star to it. To finish, she ties it all to finish the cute hair bow/ hat bow.
Sandy uses a silver scrunchy ribbon (29” long and 5” wide). She adds a red scrunchy ribbon over it (28” long) along with two blue tubular mesh (11” long each). She ties it all to finish the festive ribbon décor that can be hanged in the yard.
Sandy scrunches a blue ribbon (5 yards and 2.5” wide) making loops with a twist and turn method. She adds a decorative red ribbon (3 yards long) over it, again with a twist and turn method. Then, she tops it with a beautiful flower pick and again adds two dovetailed red decorative ribbons (6” long). She ties it all and fluffs the loops and the tails. She glues a few foam silver stars to it, finishing the gorgeous and pretty wreath bow.
