Bowdabra no-sew ribbon rose bracelet in minutes
- Bowdabra bow wire
- One 6” x 11” pink tulle
- One 6” x 14” sparkle pink tulle
- Three bangle bracelets
- Two small ribbon rose picks
- Three 1 ½” x 5” green wired ribbon
- Four 4” x 1 ½” pink/yellow ribbon
- Two 1” x 3” sheer pink ribbon
Now, we’re going to make this adorable ribbon rose bracelet, so let’s get started.
First, I’m going to start with my Bowdabra Bow Wire. I’m going to cut a piece and fold it in half and lay it down into my big Bowdabra. Now, I tuck the ends underneath just so they stay out of the way.
Then, I have these cute little bangle bracelets, and I’m just going to lay them down into my Bowdabra. Next, I have this really just plain pink tulle and I’m just going to scrunch that into my Bowdabra. Then, I have this really pretty sparkle tulle. We’re just going to lay that down into the Bowdabra.
Next, I have these ribbon pieces that I’ve already cut. You basically want to cut them at a point, and just going to fold each of them in half, and we’re going to make our ribbon flower. So, we’re just going to lay them all in. Lay one more.
Add the leaves and petals
Now, these are our leaves and then here I have these, which are going to be our petals. So I have the yellow and again this we’re going to curve in a little circle that I’ve precut, whereas the others are pointed but the petals are curved. We’re just going to put our two, and I’m going to alternate the colors for the flower. Throw those in there. This is a really super simple way to make a flower.
Then, I have these little sheer pieces that we’ll put in on top, and now I’m going to take my ribbon roses and just lay those in. We’ll lay one in each direction, and then just going to kind of twist this here. Then, I’ll take my wand and I’m just going to scrunch everything down.
Finishing your bracelet
Then, I’m going to take the wire from this side, and just bring it up through the bracelet. This way it’ll actually end up being tied right onto the bracelet. Then, I’ll pull it through my Slipknot and hold everything tight while it’s still in the Bowdabra.
Now I’m going to pull it out, separate my ends, bring them around to the back, and I’m just going to tie a knot, and then I’m going to double knot it, and I’m just going to clip the ends.
To finish, I’m going to just come around here and shape my flower, bring my tulle, and kind of puff it out here. Then when I’m going to do is pull out my leaves, bring them out. The reason that we want wire edge ribbon since that is going to help me better shape my leaves and my petals in my flower. So we’re just going to bring this around here and kind of pull everything around shape it. You have this wonderful little ribbon rose bracelet, and so super simple to make.
