In this quick and super easy video, you will learn how to make an adorable Halloween spider headband in minutes. This would look equally great on a little girl or even an adult who wants to wear something for Halloween but not an entire costume.
Adorable Halloween spider headband
- Mini Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- Black headband
- 4 black chenille stems
- 4 red chenille stems
- Black tulle 3” wide by 34” long
First, take the 4 black chenille stems and the 4 red chenille stems and twist them together. Now, they are red and black.
Next, take some bow wire though which is folded in half and thread it through the headband. Then, insert it into the Mini Bowdabra.
Now, center the twisted chenille stems and insert them one at a time into the Mini Bowdabra.
Add the tulle
Next, take the black tulle, we used one with hearts on it so it’s not as spooky, but you can use any black tulle you choose. Scrunch the tulle into the Bowdabra. This is going to look super cute on a little girl’s head. Then, scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand. Now take the wire and pull it through for a slipknot. Pull tightly and then bring it around to the back and tie a knot.
To finish, clip the ends and adjust and shape the spider legs. You have an adorable Halloween spider headband! And wasn’t that super simple?
