“Hi, I’m Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra Bow Maker. Today, I’m going to show you how to make this super simple DIY beach décor wreath. So, let’s get started.”
I started already. First, I took my straw wreath and I glued on assorted flip flops. And I get them for $1 a pair, so you really can’t beat that. Now, I’m going to set my wreath aside and we’re going to start making the wreath bow.
Make the bow

Now, I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire which I’ve folded it in half, and I’m just going to lay it into my Bowdabra and just tuck the ends underneath. Then, I have these absolutely gorgeous Katherine’s Collection floral picks. And I’m just going to lay them, going different direction, into my Bowdabra. This step really spruces everything up so it seems like a holiday bow.
Add the mesh
Next, I’m going to take my white mesh, and I’m just going to scrunch this down into the middle, and that’s going to be my tails. And I’m just going to lay that going down.
Then, I have this piece here, which is our blue mesh, and I’m just going to lay this down as some more tails. Next, I have another piece of our mesh, and I’m just going to lay it the right side down, into my Bowdabra.
Now, I’m going to bring it back around, again, take the right side, scrunch that down. And then, take this and just go down in the center. Then, I have another piece of my blue mesh, and we’re going to actually make a four-loop bow.
We’re going to start by going to the center and putting the right side of my mesh down into my Bowdabra. Then, I’m going to fold this over and make a big loop here, and take the right side and scrunch that down, and kind of push it all into my Bowdabra. Next, I’m going to take my other piece of this blue mesh and bring it around. My mesh is all getting caught on each other, but that’s okay, we can fix it. So, I’m going to bring this around here and I’m going to take the right side and scrunch it. So, you can see, I’ve made an X here. I’m going to take my lower loop from my X and scrunch that into my Bowdabra, Then, I take the top one and scrunch that in. So now, I have four loops right there.
Add the silver mesh
Then, I’m going to take one more piece of my silver mesh, and I’m going to take the right side of the ribbon, do the same thing I did before and scrunch that down. Then, bring this back.

I think I’m going to have to go to my wand now and scrunch everything in.
Make the flower middle
Next, I just have this kind of scrap of ribbon, and I’m just going to scrunch it into my Bowdabra, and just kind of scrunch it back and forth and bring it around. So, it’s just going to make like a little pretty flower in the middle. And I’m just, I’m just going every which way with this. It doesn’t really matter because it’s just going to look really pretty when it’s finished.
Finally, I’m going to take my wand and just scrunch everything down and take my Bowdabra Bow Wire and bring it back up here and pull this through the center. I’m going to hold this down, pull it really tight while it’s still in my Bowdabra. I’m going to take it out of the Bowdabra and separate the ends, and flip everything over and bring it around to the back, and tie a knot, and I’m going to double-knot it. And then, I’m going to grab my wreath and bring that back here. And then, what I’ll do is I’m going to just get some hot glue and glue this on and clip the ends of my wire. You will have this absolutely beautiful DIY beach house Christmas wreath that you can hang in a beach cottage, or for a beach décor.
