How To Make a Super Easy Ribbon Wreath

super easy ribbon wreathYou can make this super easy ribbon wreath to adorn your door in minutes. Or you can optionally use it as a centerpiece or tabletop décor.  The possibilities are endless!

Materials to Make:

Let’s begin by uncoiling the ribbon a bit from a 10-yard roll – there’s no cutting! Fold into three, 4″ loops.

Insert one loop into each of the three open areas (inner, middle, and outer) in one section of the wire wreath. Wrap the end of the first loop around the wreath wire to secure.

Then fluff and scrunch the loops close together.

Continue inserting ribbon loops, with no twisting – one by one, alternating between inner, middle and outer areas – fluffing and scrunching together around the wreath.

Fluff until the wreath is completely filled in. Secure the last ribbon loop by wrapping the wire end around the wreath wire and scrunching it together.

This is how the backside of the wreath looks.

How to Make a Bowdabra Bow

Start by folding an 18″ length of bow wire in half and place in the Mini Bowdabra, tucking ends under. Next, cut a 20″ strip of ribbon pinching it in the middle and inserting it down into the Mini Bowdabra for the bow tails.

Dovetail the ends of the ribbon by folding the ribbon together and cutting at an angle from the fold down to the corner tip.

Then take a 10″ strip of ribbon, pinching one end and placing down into the Mini Bowdabra.

Grab the other ribbon end, creasing together and taking it up over the Mini Bowdabra tower and down into the Mini Bowdabra.

Then pinch the center of the ribbon and insert down into the Mini Bowdabra creating 4″ loops on each side. Scrunch down with the Mini Bowdabra Wand.

While the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop, pulling tightly while gently pulling the bow out. Tie bow wire around to the back.

To complete the wreath, tie the bow onto the middle of the wreath wire for a pretty designer look!
