How to Make a Mason Jar Ring Wreath

You’ll Need These SuppliesSupplies for Jar Ring Wreath

  • Bowdabra bow wire—6 lengths @ 15″; 6 lengths @ 12″; 1 length @18″
  • 6 lengths 3/8″ satin ribbon @ 7½”
  • 12″ length 1½” patterned ribbon
  • 36″ length 1½” patterned ribbon
  • 7 mason jar rings (3″)
  • 7 Christmas ornaments
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Hot glue and glue gun

Instructions for Mason Jar Ring Wreath

  1. Cut the ribbons to length. Quickly pass the ribbon ends through a flame to seal the ends and prevent fraying.
  2. Next, fold one 15″ length bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.Wire in Mini Bowdabra
  3. Using one length of 3/8″ satin ribbon make a fold-over bow.Fold Over Bow
  4. Compress the ribbon with the wand.Compress Ribbon
  5. With the ribbons still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop and tighten. Tie a knot on the reverse side. Leave the wire ends uncut.Pass Wire Ends through Loop
  6. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the remaining lengths of satin ribbon. You should now have six mini satin bows.

  8. Use the wires from the satin bows to join the outer jar rings to the central one. Leave the wire ends uncut to allow for any adjustments.Join Rings for Mason Jar Ring Wreath

  10. Use the 12″ lengths of bow wire to join the outer rings to one another.Join Outer Rings
  11. Next, fold the 18″ length bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.

  13. Then, with the 36″ length of patterned ribbon make a fold-over bow.Large Fold Over Bow
  14. Compress the ribbon with the wand.
  15. With the ribbons still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop and tighten. Tie a knot on the reverse side, leaving the wire ends uncut. Fluff the bow and arrange individual loops.Pass Wire Ends through Loop Attach the Bow
