Super Quick gift wrap Bow with Bowdabra

  • Bowdabra
  • Bowdabra bow wire
  • Wide scrap ribbon
  • Sheer wire edge ribbon scraps

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Fold it in half and lay it in the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other.  This will be your slipknot.

Next, take the first piece of wide ribbon and insert it from the top folding into the Bowdabra like an accordion.  Continue pushing the ribbon in the bowdabra till you reach the end.

Now, take the two, wire edge ribbon scraps that you have already dovetailed the ends.  (To dovetail fold the ribbon in half and cut from the fold to the open end) Then, fold in half to find the center and insert each piece into the Bowdabra.

Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.

Finally, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra.  Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Double knot it.

You have a gorgeous and quick gift-wrap bow!

Hello Sandy. Another beautiful bow! I’m quite new to this and I can’t stay away from my new craft. I love making bows! And thanks again for drawing my name. I had never used that ribbon before but I really like it now. It’s the red shiny ribbon you sometimes give away on Monday nights. It adds a finishing touch and sometimes a little surprise.
I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you again.
