Watch another amazing Bowdabra video with Bowdabra creator, Sandy Sandler. Sandy shows you how to make this sweet Bowdabra patriotic ponytail holder in minutes! It’s fun, it’s easy so let’s get started!
Bowdabra patriotic ponytail holder
- Bowdabra Bow Wire
- 16×3 Red Patriotic Ribbon
- 16×3 Blue Patriotic Ribbon
- 9in Red Bowdabra Scrunchy Ribbon
- Strand of Silver and Red Beads
First, cut a piece of silver Bowdabra bow wire. Fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other. Tuck the ends underneath to stay out of the way while you make your bow.
Next, pinch the red patriotic ribbon on the right side into a mountain fold and insert it into the Bowdabra. Bring it over the Bowdabra and with the right side facing down pinch a mountain fold again and insert it into the Bowdabra. Now, again, pinch into a mountain fold and insert it into the middle of the Bowdabra.
Now, take the blue patriotic ribbon and do the same as you did to the red ribbon. You will now have four equal loops.
Next, take the Bowdabra scrunchy ribbon and insert it into the Bowdabra and scrunch down like an accordion.
Then, lay in the red and silver beads into the Bowdabra. Use the Bowdabra wand to push everything down. Insert the two loose wires through the loop and pull really tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove your bow, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie another knot for extra security. Then, use the excess wire to tie onto a ponytail holder. Tie a knot and double knot. Finally, clip all the excess wires.
