Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today showing you how to create a super simple Bowdabra Thanksgiving Hostess Gift.

Supplies:

Bowdabra Bow Making Tool
Bow Wire
Ribbon
Candy Dish

I found some pretty Thanksgiving ribbon and thought I’d make a hostess gift.  We may not be getting together this year, but I can still drop it off to the hostess.

Start by placing the Bow Wire in the channel and placing it under the Bowdabra while creating your bow.  Leaving a 6″ tail, place the ribbon in the Bowdabra and start creating loops.

Continue creating loops placing the ribbon in the channel and twisting as it passes through the channel.

Use the Bow Wand to push the ribbon into the channel.

Once all the loops have been created, pull up on the Bow Wire and tie off.

Fluff out the bow.  Cut the ribbon ends.

As I wanted to present this as a gift, I selected a leaf-shaped dish, placed a bag of candy in the center, then used the excess Bow Wire to tie the bow to the dish.

As the bow was squashed when I flipped over the dish to tie the bow, I simply fluffed out the bow again.  That’s the beauty of using wired ribbon – it really holds its shape.

Rather than a bag of candy, you could decide to add some candles, a set of kitchen towels, or perhaps even some spices.  Make your gift personal to the hostess. #abrabowdabra #bowdabra #DIY
