This centerpiece is perfect for any holiday décor need around the home and would even be perfect as a door decoration. So, let’s get started!
How to make an elegant 2-minute DIY centerpiece
Materials:
-
- Bowdabra Bowmaker
- Bowdabra silver bow wire
- Netting five pieces 17” x 2 ½”
- Silver picks
- Two pieces sparkle ribbon, one 10” long and the other 12” long
- Silver poinsettia clip on
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Fold it in half and lay it into the Bowdabra. You will have two loose wires on one side and a loop on the other side. This will be your slipknot. Tuck the ends underneath to stay out of the way while you make your centerpiece.
Next, place the netting strips in the Bowdabra, facing different directions.
Then, place the two silver picks into the Bowdabra.
Now, insert the two pieces of sparkle ribbon on which the ends have already been dovetailed. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut towards the fold.
To finish, insert the two loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove the centerpiece from the Bowdabra and turn to the back and tie a knot.
If you are adding this bow to a wreath leave the wires long for attaching.
Adjust and fluff the centerpiece bow. Next, add the winter silver poinsettia clip-on to the bow.
