Hello crafty people! Becky here with some fun ideas for Valentine’s Day ideas you can complete in minutes with Bowdabra
Here’s a short video creating a couple of Valentine’s day ideas, enjoy!
First cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, using your choice of ribbon cut two pieces and dovetail the ends. Insert them into the Bowdabra as your tails. Now insert more ribbon and begin making loops and matching them on the other side. Finish by adding a floral pick.
Finally, use the Bowdabra wand to push down all the ribbon and picks. Then, take the two loose wires and put them through the loop, and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Double knot it.
Cut a heart from the dollar store garland and attach the bow to it. Tape or glue some candy and you have a perfect Valentine!
Using a heart-shaped candy box begin as you did in the first project by folding and adding Bowdabra bow wire to the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends underneath. Make a second bow in the same way as in project #1. Add some floral picks. Put the wires through the loop for the slipknot, remove and knot the back. Tie the bow to the bow on the box with the excess bow wire.
