Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman with you today sharing how to create a sweet Mother’s Day Gift Bag with Bowdabra. The Bowdabra makes wonderful bows of all shapes and sizes that are perfect for all your gift needs.

Mother’s Day Gift Bag
Gift bags can be decorated in so many different ways and adding a beautiful bow provides a really nice finish to the gift bag. I started by decorating my gift bag first so it was ready for the finishing touch – the pretty bow.
Start by cutting a 6″ length of ribbon and placing it in the channel.
Now begin creating your bow with another length of ribbon, twisting on each pass through the Bowdabra. If you are using a wider ribbon as I have, it’s easier to pinch the ribbon first and then twist it.
Create as many loops as you need. Use the wand to push the loops into the Bowdabra. I created a 4 looped bow, slightly decreasing the size of the loops on each pass.
Since this is for Mother’s Day, I added a spray of flowers before removing the bow. While pulling the bow up, the bow wire was tied off holding the flowers in place.
Using the excess bow wire I tied the bow to the gift bag handles, then fluffed out the bow and flowers.
I wanted to add a final decorative element to the gift bag so I die cut coordinating papers with TLC Designs Dies, stamped a sentiment, then added it to the gift bag with a tiny flower.
