Turn scrap ribbon into a beautiful ponytail holder
- Mini Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- Assorted scraps of ribbon, pink, green, or your choice of colors
- Ponytail elastic
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your flower ponytail holder.
Next, cut your scraps of green ribbon about 4” long. Cut the ends to a point (these will be your leaves)
Then, pinch them in the middle and lay them into the Mini Bowdabra.
Next, take the pink ribbon pieces about 3” long. (or whatever color your flower will be) Then, cut the ends to a rounder shape and lay them into the Bowdabra.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finally, using the excess Bow wire tie the flower to the ponytail holder. Pull apart and shape your flower. You have a beautiful flower ponytail holder!
