How To Make DIY Bow Wreath With Bowdabra: Pro Tips For Fall Wreath Makers

Making a bow wreath doesn’t have to be hard! Today we’re going to show how to make Bows and fall wreaths and Pro Tips for Fall wreath makers. Create these DIY bows, wreath and your neighbors will all admire them once these bows and wreaths are up on your door. Plus, if you sell wreaths, this one is practically guaranteed to be a money-maker.

DIY Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 2:29)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. Using the Pink ribbon he creates one loop (4” – 6”), cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. Next, he takes the Pink-Purple-Orange ribbon, creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  4. Using the same process, he creates more 2 loops with the Pink ribbon and 2 loops with the Pink-Purple-Orange ribbon alternatively.
  5. He creates a total of 6 loops on the Bowdabra.
  6. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

Traditional Bow (Starts at 9:58)

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails(24”) from the Black-White striped ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

DIY Fall Bow Wreath (Starts at 13:58)

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the orange ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  4. Using the same process, he creates 4 more loops right into the Bowdabra.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
  6. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some artificial greenery and berry decorative picks with hot glue.

 

Mini Bow for a Wine Bottle (Starts at 23:55)

Materials required:

 

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the orange ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He creates 2 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  4. Next, he creates 1 medium loop (2 ½”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the tail ends at an angle.

 

3-2-1 Bow (Starts at 26:18)

Materials required:

 

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the Red-White Plaid Ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 big loops (4”-5”) on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Using the same ribbon, he creates 2 loops (2 ½”-3”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
