Create DIY Fall Bows And Wreath With Bowdabra

Making an elegant Fall bow wreath is simple, and you probably already have all of the materials you need. If you have some fall ribbons and are ready to try your hand for DIY bows and wreaths, keep reading! Today Bowdabra is going to share 4 ways to create DIY bows and wreaths for the fall season.

Traditional Fall Bow (Starts at 3:48)

Materials required:

 

Traditional Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails (24” on either side) from the sky-white gingham ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 4 loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. Nick finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

Funky Traditional Bow (Starts at 9:07)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 1 ½” Lime Green-White Striped Ribbon Roll

 

Funky Traditional Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the lime green-white striped ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. Using the 1½” lime green-white striped ribbon, he creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  4. In the same process, he creates 4 more loops.
  5. He creates a total of 5 loops.
  6. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

DIY Fall Bow Wreath (Starts at 16:00)

Materials required:

 

DIY Fall Wreath

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails (28” on either side) from the white chequered ribbon roll and burlap ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the white chequered ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 2 loops (5 ½”) on either side and 1 shorter loop (4”) on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. He takes the burlap ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 2 loops (3 ½”- 4”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  5. Then, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  6. He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
  7. Next, he curls all the tails up to give it a beautiful shape.
  8. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some greenery, white flower, and purple flower decorative picks with hot glue.

 

Simple Mini Bow Tie (Starts at 28:18)

Materials required:

 

Mini Bow Tie

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the sky ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He creates 2 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, he creates 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
