DIY Bow Wreath for Fall and Christmas Season – Bowdabra Pro Tips

A beautifully crafted bow really does make all the difference when decorating for the holidays. Today Bowdabra is going to share how to create DIY bows and wreaths for Fall and Christmas seasons. Get ready to try these crafts to spruce up your home this holiday season!

DIY Fall Traditional Bow (Starts At 3:38)

Materials Required:

 

One Ribbon Two Different bows

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails (20” on either side) from the fall ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 8 loops.
  4. Next, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. He finishes off by fluffing all the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

Funky Bow (Starts At 8:00)

Materials Required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Fall Ribbon Roll

 

One Ribbon Two Different bows

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. Using the same fall ribbon roll, he creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

Christmas Bow Wreath (Starts At 13:25)

Materials Required:

 

Christmas Bow Wreath

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the red and white plaid ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. Next, he takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 loops (4 ½” – 5”) on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Using the same ribbon, he creates 2 comparatively smaller loops (3 ½”) on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
  6. Next, he curls all the tails up to give it a beautiful shape.
  7. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some Christmas pine greenery, red berry, and white berry decorative picks with hot glue.

 

Simple Mini Bow (Starts at 26:20)

Materials required: 

 

Mini Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the purple ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He creates 2 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, he creates 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on all the tail ends.
