Video DIY Halloween door bow
- Bowdabra bow wire
- 10” wide orange mesh
- Black wired 2 ½” wide jute ribbon
- Orange 2 ½” orange wired burlap ribbon
- Morex black curling ribbon
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the end under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take the 10” wide mesh and lay the right side down into the Bowdabra. Bring the other end across and place the right side down. Now, push down into the center to create a bow.
Then, take the black wired jute ribbon and fold it in half to find the center and lay that in. These will be the tails of your bow.
Now, take the orange ribbon and find the center as you did in the last step, and lay it in the Bowdabra for the second set of tails.
Next, take a piece of black ribbon and take the right side, and lay it in the Bowdabra. Then, come across with the other end and lay that in, right side down as well. Now, take the center and squeeze into a mountain shape and push it in the Bowdabra. Repeat with the orange burlap wired ribbon
Finally, lay in the Morex curling ribbon. Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
