How to Make Matching Christmas Décor DIY Bows And Wreaths – Bowdabra Pro Tips

Christmas Bow (Starts at 1:25)

Materials required:

 

Christmas Bow

Follow these steps:

  1. Kelly folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She takes the 4” Black Red Buffalo Plaid ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 loops (7 ½”) on either side of the Bowdabra.
  3. After creating the loops, she cuts the tail ends at an angle.
  4. She takes the 2 ½” Black White Buffalo Plaid ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 2 loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  5. After creating the loops, she cuts the tail ends at an angle.
  6. She takes the 1 ½” Black Red Buffalo Plaid ribbon, puts it inside, and creates 2 loops on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  7. After creating the loops, she cuts the tail ends at an angle.
  8. She pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  9. She finishes off by fluffing all the loops.

 

Christmas Wreath (Starts at 15:28)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Burlap Ribbon Roll
  • Christmas Ribbon Roll
  • Hot Glue
  • 12” Grapevine Wreath
  • Greenery, White Snowflakes, and Red Berry Decorative Picks

 

Christmas Wreath

Follow these steps:

  1. Kelly folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails (10”) from the Burlap Ribbon roll, she places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. She takes the Burlap Ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 loops (6½”) on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, she takes the Christmas ribbon, creates 2 (half-inch shorter than before) loops on either side of the Bowdabra and 1 button loop.
  5. After creating all the loops, she cuts the tail ends at an angle.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  7. In the end, she sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some artificial greenery, White Snowflakes, and Red Berry Decorative Picks with hot glue.
