How to make the best Christmas tree topper bow in minutes

Materials:

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next lay in the tails for your tree topper, which you have already dovetailed. Start with the moss green, then gold, then the plaid red ribbon. Repeat with the same order of ribbon tails. (To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.)

Now, take a piece of the gold gleam ribbon and the red plaid and place them together with gold in half so that there is a loop on one side and lay it in the Bowdabra. Repeat this three more times.

Then, take the green burlap ribbon.  Place one end in the Bowdabra, bring it across making a loop, and then scrunch in the opposite side.  Scrunch down in the middle to make a little bow.

Take the last piece of plaid ribbon and lay it in the Bowdabra for another tail for your tree topper bow.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn it to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Fluff and arrange all the loops and tails.  You can use this Christmas tree topper bow in a multitude of ways.  Think, door bow, wreath bow, and of course the best tree top bow!
