Christmas Ribbon Bows and Wreaths – Bowdabra Tutorial

DIY Funky Bow (Starts At 03:19)

Materials Required:

 

DIY Funky Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the snowmen ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. Using the same ribbon roll, he creates one loop, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  4. In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

DIY Traditional Bow (Starts At 09:25)

Materials Required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 2-1/2″ Snowmen (wired), Aqua/White Color Ribbon Roll

 

DIY Traditional Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the snowmen ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 3 big loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, he creates comparatively smaller 2 more loops on either side of the Bowdabra.
  5. He pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  6. He finishes off by fluffing all the loops.

 

DIY Traditional Christmas Bow (Starts At 16:02)

Materials Required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 2-1/2″ La Di Dots (wired), Red/White color Ribbon Roll

 

DIY Traditional Christmas Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the long tails from the La Di Dots Red/White color ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates big 11 loops.
  4. Next, he pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. He finishes off by fluffing all the loops.

 

DIY Christmas Wreath (Starts At 20:00)

Materials Required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Red Burlap Ribbon Roll
  • Hot Glue
  • Grapevine Wreath
  • Artificial Frosted Red Berries Pinecone Sprays

 

DIY Christmas Wreath

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the long tails from the red burlap ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 11 loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.
  5. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative artificial frosted red berries pinecone sprays with hot glue.
