You’ll need these supplies:

Here’s how to make the holiday decoration:

  1. Paint the frame using a brushed metal acrylic paint. Set aside to dry.
  2. Now, we’ll make the spiker bow. Fold the 18″ length of bow wire in half and place it in the Bowdabra. You can tuck the wire ends under the Bowdabra so they are out of the way.
  3. Scrunch the tulle into the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, center the 20″ glitter ribbon tails in the Bowdabra on top of the scrunched tulle.
  5. Layer the 6″ ribbon spikes in the Bowdabra.
  6. Compress the tulle and ribbons with the wand.
  7. With the tulle and ribbon still in the Bowdabra, pass the ends of the bow wire through the loop, and tighten. Tie a secure knot on the back of the bow, leaving the wire ends long.
  8. Fluff the bow and arrange the ribbon spikes.
  9. Hot glue a holiday charm to the center of the spiker bow.
  10. Use the long wire ends to tie the bow to the top center of the frame.
  11. There are a couple ways to add the Merry and Bright signage. If you have access to an electronic cutter, use a template of the appropriate size to cut the words from vinyl, and adhere them to the front of the glass. Alternatively, you can print the template on cardstock and cut to fit your frame.
  12. Reassemble the frame with the bow attached.

What a perfect solution to holiday home decor!
