How to make a burlap wreath bow

Materials:

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, using a ¾” yd. piece of 4” wide burlap ribbon, fold it in half to find the center and scrunch that into the Bowdabra.

Now, using about 3 yds. of 4” wide burlap ribbon, twist and lay into the Bowdabra. To make a multi-loop bow, bring the ribbon across and scrunch down.  Continue making loops back and forth twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra.  Continue till you have 3 loops on each side.

Then, scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand.

Now, take the floral peony and place that in the Bowdabra.  Scrunch down again with the Bowdabra wand.

Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Arrange and adjust your bow.  Use the excess floral stem to wrap around your wreath and the excess Bow wire to tie onto the wreath.

You have this gorgeous burlap wreath bow!
