St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Wreath

Materials:

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Prepare your wreath form

Now, get your form ready by wrapping the scarf around the form and set aside.

Next, take some gleem ribbon and attach some peel and stick tape down its length.  Remove the backing and affix the mesh ribbon on top. This is your tails. Lay it aside.

Now, lay some silk florals into the Bowdabra. Then using the wide mesh ribbon lay it in the Bowdabra and twist and fold placing it in the Bowdabra to make loops for a bow. Cut the ribbon when your bow is the size you want and lay the ribbon aside.

Then, take the prepared (two ribbons) tail, fold it in half and place it in the Bowdabra. Now, use more combined ribbon and make a bow by pushing the end into the Bowdabra and twisting and folding to make matching loops back and forth. Add some more florals.

To finish, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Shape and arrange your bow and florals.  Use the excess wire to attach the bow to your prepared Shamrock wreath form.
