Instructions:

The mechanics are the same for both the corsages and the boutonnieres. We used the Large Bowdabra and a zip tie for the corsage and the Mini Bowdabra for the boutonniere with Bowdabra Wire. For the corsage, we worked with both sides of the Bowdabra, and for the boutonniere, we only work with one side. Make sure to leave about a 1″ overhang on each piece to ensure that the stems get secured in the tie.

Lay your rose leaves in first, and add your ferns. Boxwoods go in next and then some of your fillers. Next, add the focal flower/s. Lastly, add any additional fillers to complete the framing of the pieces. If you’re making a corsage, work the flowers and other pieces in from both sides. Place the stems in the Bowdabra end to end. Once all the flowers are in on either piece you make, secure them with either the zip tie or Bowdabra Bow Wire, and fluff and shape!

For the boutonniere, if you are not floral taping it, just make sure the stems are neatly trimmed. If floral taping, wrap the tape starting underneath the blooms down to the bottom of the stems. Pull the tape tight, stretching it and overlapping it, the heat from your fingers will cause it to stick to itself. Pull it tight as you wrap the stems, but not so tight that it tears.

If placing a boutonniere in a holder, it’s easier if the stems are floral taped. Add a drop of hot glue to the holder for extra security.

In minutes you will have a gorgeous corsage and boutonniere in Star Wars style!
