Easter bonnets have given way to Easter hair bows. And this hair bow couldn’t be any easier to make for your little girl.Easter Hair Bow

Gather these supplies for your Easter hair bow:

Let’s make the Easter hair bow:

  1. Prepare the glitter canvas spikes. Cut the 4″ length in quarters lengthwise. Trim ends of spikes on a diagonal. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the 2½” length of wired ribbon. Remove the wires. Fold the ribbon lengthwise into thirds, and finger press in place.  Set aside.
  3. Fold one of the 18″ lengths of bow wire in half and put it in the Mini Bowdabra. Tuck the ends of the wire under the Mini Bowdabra to keep them out of the way.
  4. Make a fold bow with five loops on each side with the 48″ length of wired ribbon.
  5. Add the ribbon spikes.
  6. Compress the ribbons with the Mini Bowdabra wand.
  7. With the ribbons still in the Mini Bowdabra, pass the wire ends through the loop, and tighten. Bring the wires to the back side of the bow and tie a knot. Leave the wire end long for now.
  8. Fluff the bow and arrange individual loops.
  9. Hot glue the center of the folded 2½” length of ribbon to the front of the bow.
  10. Bring the ends of this ribbon to the back of the bow. With an end of bow wire extended to each side of the bow, hot glue the narrow ribbon in place.
  11. Trim the bow wire ends. Hot glue the hair clip in place on the back of the bow.
  12. Optional: Hot glue the rhinestone embellishment to the front center of the bow.
