How to make the best patriotic wreath bow with Bowdabra

Materials:

Instructions:

First thing to do is cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your wreath bow.

Next take an approximately 24” x 2 ½” piece of patriotic ribbon which has already been dovetailed and lay it in the Bowdabra. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Next cut a piece of red wired ribbon 24” x 1 ½” that you have already dovetailed, and lay that in the Bowdabra. Follow that with the same size dovetailed natural color ribbon.

Now, take a 54” x 2 ½” star spangled ribbon and facing the right side down lay that in the Bowdabra.  Twist to make sure the right side is always facing up. Twist and make loops back and forth till you reach the end.

Now, make a boutique style ribbon bow with the longer piece of ribbon.  Find the center and place it right side of the ribbon down into the Bowdabra.  Next, take one end of the ribbon bring it over and scrunch that right side down into the bowdabra. Then, bring the other end over the first loop which forms a sort of X shape and lay that right side down in the Bowdabra. Now, push the lower ribbon in first, then push the top one and you have a boutique bow.  Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.

Add the floral to your wreath bow

Finally, add the patriotic rose floral into the Bowdabra. Use the Bowdabra wand to scrunch everything down.

Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn it to the back and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Fluff an arrange your bow and tails.  You have the best patriotic wreath bow that you can use for wreath’s, table décor, or even decorate a patriotic gift.
