Video How to make a super easy satin ribbon bow with Bowdabra

In this quick video DIY, Bowdabra’s teenage design team member, Lexi, shows you how to easily make a satin ribbon bow with Bowdabra.  Recently, Bowdabra was asked how to make bow with satin ribbon. Well,  It couldn’t be easier and our newest teenage design team member created a super simple satin bow in this quick video. Use this bow to decorate a summer hat or a hat for the Kentucky derby!

Lexi, Bowdabra’s Teenage design team member answers a question about how to use Satin Ribbon, how to make a bow with it, and what you could do with a 9″ satin Ribbon Bow?
She also shares a little ‘no sew’ hack for preventing the ends from fraying. There are many ways to make a bow and so many different styles… Lexi chose an easy, elegant bow to create. Your skills could range from beginner to advanced and you will easily be able to knock out a bow like this one! This bow design that Lexi makes in the Mini Bowdabra would be perfect to add on to a spring or summer Hat.

 

Description:
This Nine-inch satin ribbon bow has two different tails, four total… Two, three inch loops with a Bowdabra scunchy bow center, and tied with Bowdabra Bow Wire. This bow pattern can also be made with other types of ribbons such as grograin and wired. The width can also be substituted to a two-three inch size for the four and a half inch size.

Meet Lexi and watch her as she video replies to answer a Bowdabra question. At the beginning of the tutorial, Lexi tells how and why she loves to craft. and how kids  benefit from learning to be creative with arts and craft activities.

Recovering from an early trauma Lexi found that crafting was a great comfort to her.  She wants to share her passion for crafting with other kids.

Bowdabra and crafting have given her the confidence to create her own style and fashion accessories. Lexi says it feels really good when someone compliments one of the handmade accessories she designed and created herself.
