4 Ways To Craft With Ribbon – Bowdabra DIY Classic Style Wreath & Bows

DIY Ribbon Craft: Funky Bow (Starts at 2:15)

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He creates one loop (4 ½” loop & tails about 6” – 8”) with the ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates 5 more loops on the Bowdabra.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

DIY Traditional Bow (Starts at 8:00)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 1 ½” Denim Blue Ribbon Roll

DIY Traditional Bow

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the long tails from the denim blue ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 16 loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Gingham Ribbon Bow (Starts at 12:45)

Materials Required:

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails (18” on each side) from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 6 loops (4”).
  4. Using the same ribbon, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops (2”) and 1 button loop on the Bowdabra.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

DIY Ribbon Craft: Bow Wreath (Starts at 17:26)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Pink Gingham Ribbon Roll
  • Grapevine Wreath (Spray painted with pink color)
  • Pink Flower Stem with Leaves sprays/picks
  • Greenery Picks
  • Hot Glue

DIY Classic Style Bow Wreath

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the large Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 11 loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  5. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some decorative pink flower stems with leaves sprays, some greenery picks with hot glue.
