How to make an adorable Bowdabra bow necklace

Materials:
Instructions:

Let’s begin by making the bow using the Mini Bowdabra! First, be sure to place the Bowdabra measuring tool and ruler onto the Mini Bowdabra. Then fold a 18″ piece of Bowdabra bow wire in half and lay it in the Bowdabra, tucking ends under. Measure 8″ of the 5/8″ ribbon for the tail and make a crease in the middle, placing the ribbon at the crease mark down into the center of the Bowdabra.

Make the Bow

Next, leave the ribbon on the roll and make a crease on the end of the ribbon and press it down into the Mini Bowdabra.

Take the ribbon and fold over at the 2″ mark on the ruler creating a loop. Twist the ribbon down into the Mini Bowdabra smoothing the ribbon out.

Then fold over the ribbon at the 2″ mark creating a loop on the opposite side.

Make two more two inch loops, one on each side, as before. Use the Mini Bowdabra wand to crunch down the bows. Cut off excess ribbon at this point.

While the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra, thread the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop, pulling tightly while gently pulling the bow out.

To seal the ribbon so it won’t fray, brush on Mod Podge where the holes for the chain will go and ribbon tail ends. Let dry.

To cover the bow wire in the center of the bow, cut two inches of the 5/8″ ribbon folding edges over. Wrap the ribbon strip tightly around the center of the bow overlapping the ends in the back, gluing in place. Finish the tail ends by cutting at a slant.

Make holes on the backside of bow loop near the end. Then measure the desired length around neck for chain, opening end links and inserting link into ribbon holes. Close open links.

There you have it! A very classy and adorable bow necklace!
