DIY Funky Bow (Starts At 2:17)

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He creates one loop (3 ½” loop, tails about 28”) with the ribbon, cuts it off, and places it right into the Bowdabra.
  3. In the same fashion, he creates 4 more loops on the Bowdabra.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends.

 

Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 8:00)

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. He places the 2 ½” ribbon inside and creates 6 loops on the Bowdabra.
  3. Then, he takes the 1 ½” ribbon, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 5 comparatively smaller loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 1 ½” Red Velvet Ribbon Roll
  • 14” Grapevine Wreath
  • Greenery Picks
  • Red Berry Picks Hot Glue

Process:

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off tails (28” on either side) from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 9 loops.
  4. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops and curling up the tails.
  5. In the end, he sticks the bow securely to the wreath and adds some greenery picks, and red berry picks with hot glue.

  1. Nick folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails long from the ribbon roll, he places them right into the Bowdabra.
  3. He places the ribbon in, leaves a little bit of overhang, and creates 3 loops on each side of the Bowdabra.
  4. Next, he creates 4 comparatively smaller loops and creates 1 button loop.
  5. He secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
  6. He finishes off by fluffing the loops.
