Learn to make 7 Easy DIY Lantern, Wreath and Flower Bows with the Bowdabra

Today Bowdabra is going to share easy DIY lantern, wreath, and flower bows ideas that you can make to deck out your home decor. In the video below, we are sharing detailed tips and tricks on how to make these gorgeous DIY lanterns, wreaths, and flower bows. DIY Chicago Ribbon Bow (Starts at 0:55)

Materials required:

 

DIY Chicago Ribbon Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting the tails from the ribbon roll, she puts it on the Bowdabra.
  3. She places the ribbon in and creates 6 loops on the Bowdabra.
  4. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

DIY Fall Bow (Starts at 3:21)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Burlap Beige Ribbon Roll
  • Golden Swirl Wired Sheer Glitter Ribbon Roll
  • Fall Picks, Burlap flower

 

DIY Fall Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting off the tails from the burlap ribbon roll, she places it on the Bowdabra.
  3. She places the beige burlap ribbon in and creates 6 loops.
  4. Using the golden swirl ribbon, she creates 5 loops.
  5. She places some fall picks, and a burlap flower inside the Bowdabra.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

Snowflake Ribbon Bow (Starts at 7:23)

Materials required:

 

Snowflake Ribbon Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends, she puts it inside the Bowdabra.
  3. She cuts off 3 yards from the ribbon roll and creates 9 loops with it.
  4. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

Mini Lantern (Starts at 10:38)

Materials required:

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting the dovetail pattern on the scrap ribbon pieces, she puts them all (3 pieces) inside the Bowdabra.
  3. She places the orange plaid ribbon in and creates 2 small loops on the Bowdabra.
  4. She lays a few fall ornament picks on top of these loops and pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. In the end, she ties the bow securely onto a lantern.

 

Fall Big Bow For Wreath (Starts at 13:20)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • 5” Wide Red Ribbon Roll
  • Plaid Ribbon, Blue/Gold Ribbon
  • Snowflake Picks (White)
  • Fall Picks

 

Fall Big Bow For Wreath

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down some snowflake picks into the Bowdabra.
  3. After cutting off the tails from the red ribbon, she puts it inside the Bowdabra.
  4. She places the red ribbon in and creates 4 loops.
  5. She lays the plaid ribbon and blue/gold ribbon into the Bowdabra.
  6. Then, she creates 5 loops from the blue/gold ribbon and 11 loops from the plaid ribbon.
  7. She lays down a fall decorative pick into the Bowdabra.
  8. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.

 

DIY Flower Bow (Starts at 18:22)

Materials required:

  • 100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Green Burlap Ribbon, Yellow Ribbon, Green Mesh
  • Leaf Picks

 

DIY Flower Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down two little pieces of green burlap ribbon, a few leaf picks into the Bowdabra.
  3. After cutting off the four pieces of yellow ribbon in flower petals shape, she puts them into the Bowdabra.
  4. She finishes off by putting little green mesh on top of it and pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.

 

Tree Topper Bow (Starts at 20:57)

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. After cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends, she puts it into the Bowdabra.
  3. She takes the ribbon, flips it inside out, places it on the Bowdabra, and creates 6 loops.
  4. Then, she pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  5. She finishes off by fluffing all the loops.

 

DIY Flower Bow (Starts at 25:30)

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down some leaf picks into the Bowdabra.
  3. She lays down one piece of scrap ribbon cuts in a petal shape into the Bowdabra.
  4. After cutting off the scrap ribbons (green, brown, sky blue, silver ribbons) in flower petals shape, she puts them into the Bowdabra.
  5. Then, she pulls the bow wire from one end to the other and ties the bow.
  6. She finishes off by fluffing all the loops.
