Two Dollar Tree tinsel bears Roll of Mylar/Foil wrapping paper from the Dollar Tree… Approximately 20”-24” wide and 30” long (If making the centerpiece only, cut the Mylar 12”-14” wide and 24”-30” long.)

Six Strips of 2” wide matching ribbon, approximately 14” long… Pre-Dovetailed

A pinch of Valentine’s day garland or silk rose

Three Zip ties

Large Bowdabra

Bowdabra Bow Wire

***If making the candy tray, use a clear plastic tray from Dollar Tree’s party supply/catering department. And Dollar Tree assorted Valentine’s candy.

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Place the mylar from the top down like you are making a scrunchy bow.  Insert the loose wires through the loop and pull the slip knot tight.  Remove from the Bowdabra and tie a knot in the back.  Repeat to make another mylar bow.

Add the second bow to the first tying it with the excess bow wire. Make sure it is flat and even all around.

Add the tinsel bears

Next, place the tinsel bears back to back and tie them on the paper towel holder with the zip tie.

Load some more Bowdabra bow wire in the Bowdabra and Now, make a bow with scrap ribbon funky bow style. Loop on one side and the ends on the other alternating back and forth. Dovetail the ends. Finish the bow by adding a tinsel garland in the center.

Tie the bow up nice and tight and use the excess wire to attach it to the bear’s head.  Fluff and shape your bow.  Scatter candy all around the skirt!  You have a beautiful Valentine’s Day candy tray or centerpiece!
