How to create DIY Patriotic Day Bows and Wreaths

DIY Patriotic Bow (Starts at 0:30)

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She places the blue burlap, patriotic, and red burlap ribbon pieces with dovetailed ends into the Bowdabra.
  3. Then she places the red burlap ribbon into the Bowdabra and creates 2 loops.
  4. After that, she places the blue burlap ribbon in and creates 4 loops.
  5. She puts another piece of patriotic ribbon into the Bowdabra.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She places the patriotic ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 4 loops.
  3. She places a red burlap ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 4 loops.
  4. She places a few korker ribbons.
  5. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  6. In the end, she attaches the bow to an alligator hair clip.

 

4th July Patriotic Day Swag/Wreath (Starts at 7:42)

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She holds the red mesh ribbon and scrunches it down into the Bowdabra and creates 2 loops.
  3. She lays down two pieces of patriotic ribbon (with a dovetailed end) into the Bowdabra.
  4. She places one piece of white-silver stripe sheer ribbon inside the Bowdabra.
  5. She places another piece of white-silver stripe sheer ribbon in and creates 9 loops.
  6. She lays down a piece of patriotic ribbon in and creates 7 loops. Then she places another piece of patriotic ribbon and creates 4 loops.
  7. She lays down white-silver decorative ornaments into the Bowdabra.
  8. She places the patriotic ribbon and creates 4 loops into the Bowdabra.
  9. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

Spring Ribbon Wreath Bow (Starts at 14:33)

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She places the multicolor plaid ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 14 loops.
  3. She places a floral ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 7 loops.
  4. She lays down the yellow gingham ribbon into the Bowdabra, and creates 4 loops.
  5. In the end, she places a little piece of dovetailed floral, multicolor plaid ribbon and then another piece of floral ribbon into the Bowdabra.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She places the silver scrunchy ribbon into the Bowdabra.
  3. She places another piece of silver scrunchy ribbon in and creates 2 loops.
  4. She holds the red scrunchy ribbon and scrunches it down into the Bowdabra.
  5. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

Process:

  1. She folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down two tails cut from the bee keeper gnome yellow ribbon roll.
  3. She places a dovetailed piece of yellow gingham and yellow bees & blossoms ribbon into the Bowdabra.
  4. She places the bee keeper gnome yellow ribbon in and creates 6 loops.
  5. She lays down a few decorative yellow flower picks.
  6. She places a dovetailed piece of yellow bees & blossoms ribbon in and then places a yellow gingham ribbon inside, creating 2 little loops.
  7. She lays down another piece of yellow bees & blossoms ribbon and then places a yellow gingham ribbon inside, creating 2 little loops.
  8. She places another piece of yellow bees & blossoms ribbon in and creates 2 little loops.
  9. She lays down two little tails cut from the yellow bees & blossoms ribbon and then she adds two loops with the same ribbon.
  10. After that, she places the bee keeper gnome yellow ribbon in and creates 2 loops.
  11. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  12. In the end, she sticks the bow securely to the green burlap ribbon-covered wreath.
