Fun DIY Swag & Bows you can make in Under 30 minutes!

The good news is that creating your own DIY swags and bows is surprisingly easy, even for beginners. In this blog, we’ll take you through some simple steps to create a beautiful swag, bows, and more that will impress your friends and family. DIY Double Ribbon Bow (Starts at 0:25)

Materials required:

 

DIY Double Ribbon Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She holds the floral ribbon and pink gingham together, cuts tails short (dovetailed ends), and lays down into the Bowdabra.
  3. She places the floral ribbon inside, and creates 6 loops.
  4. She places the pink gingham ribbon inside, and creates 7 loops.
  5. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

DIY Mini Wreath (Starts at 3:30)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Burlap Ribbon Roll
  • Pink Spring Ribbon Roll
  • Green Burlap Ribbon Roll
  • Decorative Picks: Pink Flowers, Yellow Flowers, Blue Flowers, leaves, greenery

 

DIY Mini Wreath

Process:

  1. Joette folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down a few greenery, flower picks (pink flowers, yellow flowers, blue flowers) into the Bowdabra.
  3. She places two dovetailed little burlap ribbon tails inside the Bowdabra.
  4. She places both the pink spring ribbon and the green burlap ribbon in and creates 2 loops.
  5. She puts one piece of pink spring ribbon inside, takes another piece, and scrunches it down into the Bowdabra.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back.
  7. In the end, she attaches the bow to the wreath covered with leaves and decorative picks.

 

DIY Bow With Multiple Ribbons (Starts at 8:26)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Blue Ribbon Roll
  • Polka Dot Blue Ribbon Roll
  • 2 ½” Silver-Blue Shimmer Ribbon Roll
  • Green-Blue Polka Dot Ribbon Roll

 

DIY Bow With Multiple Ribbons

Process:

  2. She places the blue ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 6 loops.
  3. She places the polka-dot blue ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 5 loops.
  4. She lays down the silver-blue shimmer ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 6 loops.
  5. She places the green-blue polka dot ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 6 loops.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

DIY Lantern Swag (Starts at 13:15)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Green Sheer Ribbon Roll
  • Pink-Green Spring Ribbon Roll
  • Floral Pick, Greenery Pick
  • Lantern

 

DIY Lantern Swag

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down a few flowers, and greenery picks into the Bowdabra.
  3. She places one dovetailed tail from the green sheer ribbon roll and one dovetailed tail from the pink-green spring ribbon roll inside the Bowdabra.
  4. She places both ribbons together and creates 5 loops.
  5. She lays down a few flowers picks into the Bowdabra.
  6. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  7. In the end, she attaches the bow to a lantern.

 

DIY Boutique Hair Bow (Starts at 17:27)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Red-White Polka Dot Ribbon, White Satin Ribbon
  • Wine Stone Flowers
  • Ponytail Holder

 

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She attaches both ribbons (red-white polka dot ribbon, and white satin ribbon) and creates a unique and beautiful ribbon. She places the ribbon inside the Bowdabra and creates 4 loops.
  3. She places a few wine stone flowers inside and secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  4. In the end, she attaches the bow to a ponytail holder.

 

Gift Package Bow (Starts at 20:19)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Blue Tulle, Pink Tulle, Lavender Tulle

 

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She holds the blue, pink, and lavender tulle and scrunches them down into the Bowdabra one by one.
  3. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Large Bowdabra
  • Greenery Picks, Floral Bush, Blue Floral Picks, Big Pink Hydrangeas Picks
  • Pink Floral Ribbon

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She lays down a few pieces of greenery, floral bush, blue flowers, and big pink hydrangeas picks into the Bowdabra.
  3. She places one dovetailed tail from the pink floral ribbon roll inside the Bowdabra.
  4. She places the pink floral ribbon in and creates 11 loops.
  5. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.

 

Hair Bow (Starts at 28:38)

Materials required:

  • 100-Yard Bowdabra Bow Wire
  • Mini Bowdabra
  • Yellow-White Polka Dot, Blue-Black Polka Dot, and Blue Ribbon Roll

 

Hair Bow

Process:

  1. Sandy folds the bow wire in half and tucks it underneath the Bowdabra.
  2. She places one dovetailed tail from the yellow-white polka dot ribbon roll and one dovetailed tail from the blue-black polka dot ribbon roll and one dovetailed tail from the blue ribbon roll inside the Bowdabra.
  3. She places the blue-black polka dot ribbon in and creates 4 loops.
  4. She puts the yellow-white polka dot ribbon in and creates 4 loops.
  5. She secures the bow with several wire knots in the back and finishes off by fluffing the loops.
  6. In the end, she takes a little piece of the blue ribbon, puts a yellow flower on top of it, brings the ribbon around the bow, and sticks it in the middle with glue.
